A Canadian general took command of coalition troops in southern

Afghanistan, promising to flush out Taliban and Al-Qaeda fighters and help rebuild the tattered country, officials announced.

Last month, a new poll found 62 percent of Canadians do not support incursions in Afghanistan.

 

If the number of deaths or casualties of Canadian soldiers increases significantly, nearly a third of those who support the mission said they would change their mind, according to the Strategic Counsel survey.

i've got no problem with it, they've obviously dedicated some significant troop levels to the mission.

 

Does that mean for whatever goes wrong in Afghanistan....
