May 24, 200619 yr While I think both Kat and Taylor are very good, I think the thing thta separates the two are that Taylor comes across as having been there before. Kat seems surprised at both criticism and her success. She seems like a little kid seeking out appreciation, rather than a seasoned performer competing to win a huge competition. There is an innocence to that, but Taylor just seems to live the part of the winner more so than Kat. Either way, I think they will both be successful. But at the same time, if that last song is the type of crap they are going to be forcing them to record and release, then I wish Taylor had lost about 10 weeks ago. Let McPhee have the Diane Warren written B.S. fluff. Both songs were typical modern Pop crap and the exact reason the music industry is tanking. Total crap.

Taylor should win, but it will be interesting to see how a professional music career will go for him. I wonder if he can be a hit machine for the Idol Corp.
