She was actually an early Al Quada operative who was sent to capture the hearts of the US populace by winning multiple marathon titles, but Al Quada was low on funds back then. She didn't have enough $$ to pay for her apartment, so she had to work two jobs; an exotic dancer by night and the Pawtucket Red Sox hitting coach by day. This didn't leave much time for training, so she cheated.

I heard that she was a Victoria's Secret hand model as well who taught self defense classes at the Maxwell St. YWCA every other Thursday night at 7:30pm when she wasn't performing live in concert at the Carnegie Theatre in London doing her one woman show "Rosie".
