WHAT!?!??!  :crying.  What happened to your BHAM gig?

Well I could have had it back but chose to come out west instead. I will still be on the board from time to time and want to first congratulate the sox's and wish them well this season. The Dbacks are a 4th place team but a bright future. I had a good 6 years in Bham and will never forget the players and the memories.

Well to be fair you did pick the right year to get out :P . But yeah if your going to the Dbacks should be a lot of nice hitting prospects to watch. I wish you could stay your updates and information about the Barons were 2nd to none.

Damn that's really too bad, from a complete selfish point of view. You were one of the posters that I always made sure to read their stuff. Thanks for all of the info and insight you brought us, and the best of luck to you in the future. :cheers

Tenative FutureSox Breakdown

A more specific report will come out when all the rosters become official.

FutureSox.com has learned the tenantive breakdown of the 2006 opening day Barons roster. Some changes can still be made, but FutureSox.com has included a short report on some players you should watch out for. We plan on making a more detailed report for each team, once all the rosters are officially announced.

Catchers:

Wally Rosa

Gustavo Molina

Carlos Lee

Infielders:

Josh Hansen

Chris Getz - Great bat control, plus range, plus speed

Robert Valido - Teams up with Getz to form our best double play combo

Micah Schnurstein - Not quite Josh Fields, but has a good gap power and has been due for a breakout season

Rob Sasser

Mike Myers

Outfielders:

Tom Collaro - Some of the best pure power in the system

Ricardo Nanita

Mark Quinn - Veteran whose spent parts of 4 season with the Royals

Chris Amador

Pitchers:

The Starting Five

Ray Liotta - #1 pitching prospect in the organization

Lance Broadway - Former #1 draft pick showed signs of fatigue last year; Is expected to take off this season

Corwin Malone - Expected to Pitch out of the Rotation in 06

Tyler Lumsden - Missed all of 05 with an arm injury, power arm

Ryan Rodriguez - Rounds out a formidable rotation; Considered a sleeper by FutureSox.com

The Bullpen

Ehran Wassermann

Rusty Tucker

Dwayne Pollok

B.J. Lamura

Fraser Dizard

Brian West - Back from his stint with football at LSU

Jeff Little

Amador is fun to watch. He has a quick temper. When he gets mad, he can entertain you well. On the baseball side, he is quick and can steal some bases.
