BlackHawks Finally Pull Past the Wings, 3-2

By Matthew Perioli

The Blackhawks have had a heck of a time dealing with the Detroit Red Wings this season. They headed into Friday night's game with an 0-6 record this year against Detroit, and goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin had been pulled from each of the last two losses against the Wings. However, the Hawks, for one night at least, have bragging rights after defeating Detroit by a final score of 3-2 in overtime.

This doesn't make up for that game vs. Detroit at the UC earlier this year where the Hawks had a 2 goal lead with under a minute left in the third, blew the lead, and lost on a goal basically as time expired in OT.

I dunno. I never signed up at Blackhawkzone for whatever reason.

I'm thinking about talkbhawks, but I just don't talk as "in-depth" about the Hawks as I used to. For example, I don't know s*** about their minor-leaguers or potential draft targets. So I don't know how much I'd add to the site.

....that doesn't stop me from posting here, though.... :D

I guarantee one thing...you could add a lot more than I do. I just ask questions, I know nothing about the sport of hockey. :D
