Dye Update?

No guarantee that Gload would have gotten that ball with the wind whipping around like that.

I never said he would have. But now we do know that Ozuna is awful out there.

With a righty on the mound tomorrow in Denny Bautista, Gload better be out in LF tomorrow if Podsednik and Dye aren't playing.

Agreed.

This whole Ozuna error reminds me of the Cubs in game 6 vs the Marlins. Everyone blames that boob in the stands for the loss. The Cubs had ample opportunity to win that game just like we did today. We still had a nice lead after Ozuna's play. The pitching and lackluster hitting from that point on did us in.

Do you guys know if he will play tomorrow?

It sounded today like Ozzie might hold him out until the middle of next week. Supposedly he's available to pinch hit or if they really need him in a game.

Great.... I really hope he is OK

He's all right, but just like Ozzie did last season, he tends to play it overly safe with these guys when they have small injuries early in the season. Which is probably the right move; better to have them miss 2 additional games now than have them hit the 15 day DL by reaggrivating something.
