God, you are right. I mean, how could Briggs even be second on the team in tackles, man is he worthless.

Tackles smackels.... Id be worried if Tillman and Vasher were setting career higs in tackles... thats Briggs job

In Lovie's scheme the LBS make the tackles.... he doesnt expect his down lineman to... they are supposed to penetrate, the bust the play up and force them to change where they want to go.

I am not impressed by tackles. I am impressed with his ability to drop interception after interception that hits him in his hands. And his lack of sacks despite being the "hot" man in Chico's eagle blitz packages.

I mean can we look at him objectively.

He is supposed to be the Derrick Brooks WILL the most important piece in the Tampa 2. And he gets every oppurtunity to be a playmaker with the blitz packages brough over with Riveria and he fails.

Watch some old tape. Watch him blitz and get chipped by an RB constantly.

I wouldn't go that far. :P

I think Briggs is a bit overrated, but he's still a pretty good player that we should probably try to retain.

I dont think there is anyway the Bears can get high enough to get Hawk.

no, you'd definitely have to be high to think the bears could get hawk.
