Chris Amador

Featured Replies

I just read that Amador joined the Winston Salem Warthogs from extended spring training, where he apparently was recovering from an injury. He is a second baseman who had 56 steals for Kannapolis last year.

Hopefully this will dictate a promotion to AA for Ruddy Yan.

As an aside Chris Honel pitches tonight.

Its a waste for Yan to spend any more time in A Ball. The sox need to move him to AA where we can see whether he's really improved with his bat.

Amador, to put it bluntly, is horrible with the bat.

I didn't need to hear that.

He is correct, Amador has tools but can't hit a lick.

Amador Flies. Native Puerto Rican who I watched in Winter Ball. Can't hit his Weight and he doesn't weigh much. Small frame guy. About 5'8" Looks Totaly overmatched. His Brother was Blue Jays prospect a few years ago and then washed up[ currently in the Independent league

He is correct, Amador has tools but can't hit a lick.

and that makes him different from everyone else we have .. how????? lol lol lol..........none of these guys could hit the broad side of a barn with a wrecking ball these days..........lol ;) :D

Nahhh they can't hit the whole barn!!! :D :) :P

I didn't need to hear that either. Another prospect sounds like nothing.

We need a good bunter on our team. Remember how singleton used to get bunt hits?

We can't buy a hit these days.
