FUCK YOU, ABC!

The assholes at ABC were doing a piece on Corkgate and the bonehead reporter they had (not Giangreco, he actually took shots at Sammy). Anyways, the guy mentioned the last two players to get caught corked, Wilton Guerrero in 1997 and, in his words, "White Sox outfielder Albert Belle in 1994."

:fyou CHICAGO SPORTS MEDIA. You are, by far, the worst in the nation. Why get facts right when you can just skew them. Assholes. I hate the Chicago sports media.

its pathetic... no escape.... we live in a cub nation full of apologists.....sosa could get caught beating a nun and the media in chicago would find a way to give hem a pass

I always find it funny how major new sources can screw up so many things.

What's worse is that the film they put in the segment of the Albert Belle incident clearly shows him standing there in his Cleveland jersey. Yet they still f*** up. How?

Oh wait, I know... Let's try and throw some dirt on the Sox.

I liked Rick Telender on Baseball Tonight. I also happened to agree with him.

If Shammin' Sammy's story is the truth, he is the world's biggest dumbs*** for not marking that bat. He's an adult, he knew dam well that bat was corked when he went to bat and had the entire story ready to go if he got caught. I would like to know when he started cheating.

At least they didn't ID Sammy as a White Sox outfielder . . .

It's shilling for the Cubs combined with the stupid condition of American journalism today. Nobody edits. It's probably totally over their arrogant heads how stupid they looked.

Agreed. No one edits and a lot of the young reporters know s*** to begin with let alone are too f***ing lazy to do any research.

Those who saw that on tv should take the time to call and make a complaint to the station - if enough people care and take the time to do that, the station will issue a retraction, and put them on notice to not be so sloppy. If no one calls, the sloppiness continues. Call them on it - it is the only way to shape them up.
