Indians get a 1 out walk to Blake, but he gets picked off at first after Verlander fans Peralta. Tigers coming to bat in a 0-0 game.

Maggs goes deep with 2 out, after Guillen reaches on a misplayed ground ball by Broussard. 2-0 Tigers.

Shelton singles to center.

Hannahan strikes out to end the inning.

Hafner leads off with a single, but gets erased on a double play. Bottom 2, still 2-0.

Byrd gets em in order in the 2nd. 2-0, into the 3rd.

Another double play helps Verlander following a Broussard single. Bottom 3, 2-0.

1 out double for Polanco.

Doesn't score though, as Guillen strikes out, and Maggs grounds out to 1st. Headed to the 4th, up 2.

Verlander due for a rough outing.

That still won't mean they lose. Byrd is f***ing awful

Sizemore leads off the 4th with a homer to right. 2-1.

Nice. Perhaps a few more of those.

Yet another double play gets Verlander out of trouble. Bottom 4. Getting some big plays with the glove tonight, 3 double plays and the pickoff by Verlander earlier.

Cleveland's offense does not get held to 1 run very often.

Hafner strikes out swinging to end the threat.

Verlander hit -101- on the gun in that last sequence.

Electric arm.

Polanco singles to start the bottom of the 6th.

Someone needs to cut Justin's right arm off.

With a name like mine you wouldn't think I'd ever be rooting for the Indians.

LOL!!!

Not really sure, the word right now is maybe Walker might take over for the moment, or possibly someone from the farm system. We got some solid arms there from what I understand.

2 out single for Monroe.

Inge strikes out. End of 7.

Slim to none and slim just left the building.

Either Colon will be promoted from the bullpen or one from the group of Ledezma, Miner and Tata will be called up from the minors. Zumaya is going to stay put where he is for at least the rest of the year. Most of those within the organization believe that his arm and makeup are better made for brief inning or two stints.

That said, this is his first year not starting. I'd like to see him get a shot at some point but I don't know if it's going to happen.

Verlander done for the evening.

Verlander out, Rodney in.

Record of 3-1, 1.31 ERA

Leadoff double for Boone.

Top of the order for the tribe.

  • Author

Flyout to left, Boone goes over to 3rd.

2 feet away from being a 3-2 lead for the Indians.
