June 10, 200619 yr Author South Carolina is absolutely lighting up Georgia 12-1 in the 7th. Georgia had a few golden opportunities to get back in the game but got 1 run after having the bases juiced with 1 out in both the 2nd and 3rd innings. South Carolina hit 5 consecutive HR's off Georgia in the 2nd inning (all of them were major bombs). This would be an upset.
June 11, 200619 yr Helluva game on ESPN2 right now in Alabama and UNC. Bama has led the whole game until UNC scores 4 times in the bottom of the 8th inning to take a 6-4 lead. The Tide promptly gets two runners on against the Tar Heels closer and hits a 3-run jack to put them up 7-6. On to the bottom of the 9th right now......
June 11, 200619 yr WOW! UNC wins 8-7 on a two out HR immediately after Alabama's close struck out Horton, the Tar Heels SS who was hitting over .400 for the season. Ole Miss rallies to beat Miami 11-9 after trailing 9-3 early in the game. Rice beats Oklahoma 10-4, no surprise there.

June 11, 200619 yr That was an amazing game Rex. I couldn't believe the ending. Chad Flack had the game of his life. First a deep, deep, 3 run bomb over the scoreboard in left to give Carolina their first lead, and then the game winning opposite field shot to end it with 2 outs. Tommy Hunter is a helluva freshmen pitcher, he showed alot of guts. Everything is clicking for UNC at the right time. They are a team led by freshmen and sophomores on offense, that has been on fire. Looks like a match-up with Fullerton is up next.

We don't have the best talent, but we win and just beat down our opponents On a sidenote, Gagnier was a freaking steal in the 10th round, imo (Tigers drafted him). We open up play against Miller though so thats gonna be one hell of a test.

UNC gets the next hitter to strike out, but the catcher can't handle the pitch and allows the runner to reach 1B, extending the inning. UNC gets out of the inning with the bases loaded on a nearly missed fly ball to RF. On to the 12th inning, tied 5-5.

Tough loss, long game, and we are in deep crap since we used our #2 starter in the game as well.
June 22, 200619 yr Author Well the Titans put up a good fight but were eliminated. They sure sucked with runners on 3rd and less than 2 outs against North Carolina. Between a few failed opportunities and some uncharacteristic errors the Titans run came to an end.
