Boys State Volleyball Title

Congratulations to the Maine South boy's volleyball team on their state championship today at Hoffman Estates. Along with having the best public football program in the state over the last 10 years, they can also succeed in other sports.

BS call was the only reason they beat Warren in the football playoffs last year. Although your QB was a top notch athlete.

This was the biggest joke of a volleyball title ever. There were no quality teams this year.

I don't remember any controversial call swaying the game either way. With the talent Warrren had,

it probably was the best opportunity Warren will ever have to beat Maine South in the playoffs. Now they'll go back to getting spanked by the Hawks.

I love playing volleyball. I would've played it if Iowa had boys volleyball.

Glad you added "in the playoffs" cuz they beat MS at their house in the regular season last year. Nice job winning state, oh wait.

Refs called a bogus pass interference call. Tyler was throwing it up as he was being sacked on 4th down, Warren was about to INT it or knock it down in a group of guys ref threw a flag when the ball was up for grabs. Would of ended the game.

Good luck next year without Mitchell Moore and Marvin Bembry. The window of opportunity has opened and closed. Anyway, talk to me when Warren finally reaches the quarter-finals..........

And Marcus Lewis. Moore and Lewis will be playing D1 ball and yes, Warren will be very down this coming fall.

I'm not gonna argue with you, congrats on your 2000 state title and your state runner up the past few years.

Fair enough. I wasn't looking for an arguement when I opened this post......just wanted to congratulate some kids on a good season.
