Do you always concede games this easily?

I wouldn't if there were the slightest bit of evidence that we could actually mount offense against CC.

One thing is for sure...you don't throw Hafner a 3-2 fastball down the cock when all a walk would do is load the bases with 2 outs.

Right on. You don't necessarily walk him, but you sure as s*** don't give him something that easy to hit. How many times does this guy have to burn us? Anyway, lets get some damn runs. We are due to break out.

I think he means tonight's game

We are due to beat his ass. I hope. My pick to click tomorrow: Brian Anderson. A Cinderella Story. I wonder if Cinderella can play CF?

We have almost singlehandedly kept Cleveland alive in this division, or so it seems.

Looks like Tigerfan has had enough of the tigers. I see that he vanished from the "users reading this topic" now that the Tigers are getting their asses handed to them.

So what IS Javy's ERA now?

Isn't Neal's 3.7 ERA somewhat misleading?

Peralta blows.

4.19

Nice to see show up to play after the HR. Little too late.

If that is the case, ... If we were not sending hitters to the plate in the next innings that hit like they were abducted from third world countries and told to swing at anything or they could not eat, then yes, I would say hope is gone.

Bingo.

Isn't Neal's 3.7 ERA somewhat misleading?

What is his inherited runner stranded percentage or whatever the hell that's called. Hard to base anything off a relievers ERA.

Blake with a looping single. A 1-2-3 inning is impossible to get against these guys.

I'm going to hate watching Sizemore and Hafner hit the ball hard every AB against us for the next 5 years.

That would be because they have a good lineup with balance throughout.

Hawk is such a s***. Someone ought to tell him to stop pretending that it's his not his job to throw a fit and stop talking because the Sox are losing.

Kenny back from the graduation to see this?

He's a good hitter but here's the deal, how about getting him out on pitches earlier in the count? This was Cotts' fault, he nibbled and if you are afraid of the other teams hitters then please go away.

He did not want to walk the guy, he was trying to get him out by throwing him a strike, Cotts' problem there was simple ... he did not change speeds, either he didn't think of it or he doesn't have the ability.

But you have arguably your best left handed bullpen arm vs. arguably their best lefthanded hitter, despite fathoms 2nd guessing saying Thornton should have been in there ... the problem was a bad pitch by Cotts.

I certainly hope so.

Is Iguchi due or what?

If you really need it, I have 10 witnesses hearing me say Thornton should have been in well before the first pitch of the AB :P

Edited by fathom

I believe Iguchi's last hit was against the Cubs.

Some would constrew (sp?) these comments as out of line or even racist.

Good for you. Real easy to 2nd guess. You are a master at it.

Sizemore is a f***ing superstar....sorry jphat, but I still can't believe you would rather have Pods as a leadoff hitter.
