NHL salary cap to rise to $44 million, with a floor of $28 m

Nice!

So revenues were at an all time high - AFTER the lockout. Interesting.

Wow. So teams will have some money to spend this off-season, and IIRC that means the top salary will be $8.8 mil for an individual, right?

I think so, if I remember the math right.

Wirtz will be just above floor at 30=31 mil!

Dollar Bill will cry poor and ask for a waiver to lower the cap to 10 million or so..........and 9.9 million of it will be used to buy cigars and scotch for himself and his lapdog Pulford.
