July 10, 200619 yr I was just wondering who is going to make the trip out to Detrioit for this series. I am wondering where ppl were staying and if anyone is tailgating? (Is tailgating allowed at Comerica Park?) I am looking to get tiks for tuesdays game. Post up if you will be there. It would be nice to hang out with CHISOX fans! Safety in numbers thats what they always say..LOL!!

July 10, 200619 yr I'm going to the Wed. night game on the 19th. I won't be tailgating though. I'll be meeting up with friends from college who live in the Northville area. I can't wait!
July 11, 200619 yr I know you were kidding about the safety in numbers thing, but just lettin gyou know that Comerica isn't in the bad part of Detroit. It isn't in the ral nice part either, but it's not bad. Now Tiger Stadium..that's another story. Detroit is just like most other major US cities.

No other city has had such a dramatic fall as Detroit. Those wonderful art deco buildings and old sky rises are filled with bums and psychopaths doing drugs and commiting crime. I've been to a bunch of games, and you will be fine.

July 11, 200619 yr I wasn't very specific when I said that, what I was saying is that Detroit has good parts and bad parts, just like Chicago or St. Louis or whereever.

(probably like 5 blocks down)
