i was listening to ESPN 1000 when levine broke the news that the sox acquired macdougal, he also mentioned the possibility of adding another reliever before the deadline. my initial thought was it would be scott linebrink. levine stated earlier in the week that he thought it was going to happen and has not backed off that statement. the only other options i can think of are gordan (big contract) or duaner sanchez or aaron heilman from NY (everyone has heard of this). wut other options do you think there are if it isnt one of these guys?

I doubt it would be Linebrink.

 

San Diego demanded Fields in exchange for their righty setup man.

Roberto Hernandez or S. Torres are much more likely than the big name guys listed above. Linebrink and Gordon have not looked good recently.
