Ozzie? Has he lost this team?

If Ozzie didn't respect his players Anderson would have been in the minors after April, the pitchers would be getting the hook after the first run scored, and several of the other players would have been benched. Ozzie sticks with his players and at least gives them confidence enough to know that even if they are struggling he is going to send them back out. That is something that the players value.

The players know Ozzie wears his emotions on his sleeve and that is who he is. If you look at their record, there is no correlation between how they have played and the incidents that occurred. The Sox won 9 straight after the Tracey incident.

Most of the players are making millions playing a kids game, and they need to step up and earn their pay.

I know it is easy to just point the finger at the manager, but they don't impact the game nearly as much as people think. Normally the manager is just the scapegoat for sub-par performances by players.

Word.

ozzie is trying to get the boys fired up in the wrong way. He wants the sox to get pissed and play, but he is looking like a too tough drill sergent yelling at his players.

we just have to get going

Someone said there was a rift between Garland and Ozzie? :huh

The first post hinted at it.
