August 26, 200619 yr Whats in Rice's arsenol... he dominated early as a reliever than seemed to have a rough patch and now has looked pretty good as a SP. He also seems to K a lot so be interesting to know what kind of stuff he has.
August 26, 200619 yr Omogrosso has been better lately for Kanny, 1-1 with a 2.21 in his last 10 outings. And most important, only 3 walks in that span (20.1 IP) after having 8 walks in his first 9.1 IP. Also, Rice with the 99 k's in 86.2 is very solid, but the 56 walks is concerning, including 31 in his last 33.2 IP. He's barely 20 years old though, so that strikeout split would make me think he has pretty good stuff, as well as the fact he's only given up 56 hits in 86.2 IP overall.
