September 18, 200619 yr Realistically the Sox NEED to win at MINIMUM 6 of 7 to have a shot the last week but a perfect 7-0 would be wonderful!!! I for one refuse to give up hope and hope that tonight is that start of a special final 2 weeks of the 06 regular season!
September 19, 200619 yr It didn't take long for them to f*** that up. I didn't watch last night because I am just done...I have better things to do with my time. But of course I asked the girlfriend to check the score, and was I surprised to hear it was 4-0? No, I expected it. This team is just pathetic.
September 19, 200619 yr yea i gave up a couple games ago. this team is showing nooo urgency whats so ever. if they don't care why should we?!? In order for the Sox to make the playoffs now, they MUST go 12-0 and hope Detroit goes 6-6 or Minny goes 8-5 or less to make the playoffs. At this point its just not realistic. You can thank a crappy bullpen and some old friends for that (Thomas and Maggs).
