November 28, 200619 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Nov 28, 2006 -> 08:49 AM) My fav in the crockpot is getting a 3 poundish roast, sliced carrots, diced potatos and pearl onions and letting that simmer on low all day... We always have something like this the day before Thanksgiving. Good stuff.
November 28, 200619 yr Also really good stuff is to a take roast of about the same size, add in a jar of pepperchini peppers (alter the amount up or down depending on how much of a spicey taste you want) and you get a killer Italian beef.
November 30, 200619 yr We hooked up some Tortilla soup in the crockpot today. Delish and super easy. Brushed some butter on some flour tortillas and tossed them in the oven for a few minutes and then dropped them in the soup along with a dab of sour cream and some shredded cheddar. Great meal.
November 30, 200619 yr We could always collect Soxtalk recipies and have someone make them for me......
