Pettitte To Yankees

Andy Pettitte signs one year deal with the Yankees per ESPNEWS

Great Deal for thr Yankees. I have always liked Andy.

1 year, 16 mil

And suddenly the Yankees have a pitching staff.

Wang, Pettitte, Hughes, that guy from Japan, Johnson, Pavano if he ever shows up, Humberto Sanchez, Mussina, that's a good 8 potential starting pitchers, 7 if you assume Pavano is just a wax figurine.

New York is suddenly a scarier team.

Any idea where Clemens is leaning?

Surprisingly, I haven't seen too much press about him yet.

Yes they are. I have always liked Pettitte. I hope he can rebound this year.

That will make the Yankees tougher next season. Last I knew Roger Clemens was undecided, it wouldn't surpise if Clemens returned to the Yankees also.
