November 13, 200223 yr http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...sox%2Dheadlines Pretty ignorant if you ask me. Hopefully he learned his lesson.
November 13, 200223 yr At least he isn't lying about it like Jeff Kent did. You are right though, he probably shouldn't of been doing something like that, then again, I know if I was playing baseball I'd want to do what I thought was fun during the offseason.
November 13, 200223 yr Aaron Rowand brings nothing to the Sox anyways, I hope he is OK but I hope we bring someone else to play center field. He is not as good as everyone thinks and showing hustle and heart makes people think he can hit .310 and hit 15 homers and steal 30 bases. It wont happen. Remember, the Sox could have had Lidle for Rowand last year during the beginning of the season. Now they are giving up Lee for him? Common Kenny, what is with you. With Rowand hurt and Lee possibly gone we have only Mags in the OF, oh well. Jeff
November 13, 200223 yr I happen to like Rowand quite a bit simply because he's willing to be a team player. He is great at moving runners over, dropping the bunt and giving up his out for the benefit of the team. I don't think he'll ever be a star, but he's a solid outfielder, that hustles and works hard and could hit .280 and thats good enough for me.
