Didn't KW hint (I want to say on an radio interview) that they offered McCarthy for Soriano? I might be mistaken on that. No, Bowden wanted McCarthy and Broadway - or something close to that - and KW said he wouldn't give up McCarthy (and then had very high praise for Broadway as well, but that seemed more fluff to me than anything else).
