June 26, 200322 yr Bighurt: I noticed you wrote Go White Stockings in your signature. I hate to break it to you, but I am pretty sure that the Cubs used the name White Stockings after their creation in 1876. Later, they changed their name to the cubs. In 1900 when the new chicago team had to find a name they picked up an adapted version of the White Stockings known as the White Sox. I am pretty sure that is how the history book reads it...
