How about Collaro he hits lefties well strikes out little too often 19 times in 77 at bats with only 3 walks. Although he does hit with authority against lefties. In 77 ab he has 25 hits 7 doubles a triple and 4 homers. that's an extra base hit every 6.41 ab. I don't know how that translates into AAA stats or major league totals. I have no knowledge of how well he plays the outfield what positions he can play. Can anyone elaborate.

He's not a prospect. Can't control the strikezone while repeating AA means there's no translation to AAA or the Majors.

It's official, with this thread, this guy has now become Jeff Bajenaru part II.

Baseless love-affair with a non-prospect...Yes!!!!

56 K's, 9 walks in 48 games, what's wrong with that?

Hawk loves him...

:hawk:

Hawk finally had to move on from Casey Rogowski. After Collaro, it will probably be Brandon Allen because he's a "big, strong guy" as well.

And to think that Hawk was GM of the Sox at one point...

It is a scary thought.

He picked up Ivan Calderon for nothing. Got Bobby Bonilla for nothing. Traded away Britt Burns and he never pitched again. He really didn't do a bad job. The team was doomed that season. Seaver wanted out. He wound up trading Bonilla back to Pittsburg but got Jose DeLeon who eventually turned into Lance Johnson. Calderon eventually turned into Tim Raines. Hawk really wasn't as bad as most will have you believe.
