a batter's only official at-bat is registered as a base on balls, what is his OBP? SLG?

(the answer: I don't know....that's why I'm asking)

OBP = 1.000

SLG = Undefinable

You need to have atleast 1 AB in order to calculate slugging percentage. The formula is simply TB/AB. The walk would count as a TB but no AB would be recorded since a BB only counts as a plate appearance and not an at bat. Plug the TB into the formula and you get 1/0 and any number divided by zero is undefinable.

Walks don't count as total bases or in slugging.

They also don't count as an official at-bat making the original question a trick question.

Gaedel has 0 career at-bats.

Ok great, but Kalapse said walks count as total bases, which isn't correct.
