There's really nothing to lose. He really has some nice tools, but has yet to put it together. If he can come into his own we suddenly have a nice outfielder and hopefully one of our top OF prospects can contribute. It would be nice to add some pop through trade or FA in the offseason in the last OF spot.

i just hope after today scoring 5 runs, and possibly more, that our bats show up tomorrow-sunday on the pennsylvania road trip.

Dye's been really bad on 3-1 pitches this year, as he's been way too pull-happy and impatient. I love the idea of trying to trade him for someone like Billingsley.
