I was skeptical heading into this show, but really enjoyed it last night. In fact, it was right up my ally and I think has a lot of promise to be one of the more entertaining programs of the summer running back to back with Entourage...

My Sunday nights are set!

I liked tonight's episode. Seemed to have a better flow than last week's. Although last week I might still have been too flabbergasted by the Sopranos ending to pay full attention. I'm still a little weirded out by the loto winner and the hotel. I don't know what's going on there and that guys rambling.

I don't know, but when I was just flipping by, I think I saw Elisha Cuthbert. Is it her? If so, I might have to watch more of it :)

No, it wasn't her, but as I was watching I did remark to my wife that she looks very similar to Cuthbert.

This show is solid, and does a good job of ending on a note that makes you want to come back next week.

Eh, I dunno. I just watched Episode 2 last night and I'm still not feeling it. I have zero interest in surfing, so that might be part of it. It just seems to move very, very slow.

Also, does anyone else feel that using past actors on other big HBO series is a bad thing? Two guys from Deadwood showed up in that episode and instead of me thinking about the new character, all I think about is "oh hey, that's that guy from Deadwood. Wow, he sure is different in this show."

They got Edie Falco, Carmella Soprano, from the show Oz where she was a correctional officer.

I don't have patience for shows that will require me to watch four episodes before I catch on. I never got into Deadwood at all.

I think Iam going to stick around for a couple more episodes after watching the second one.I love Al Bundy I think his character is great and Iam anxious to see where he goes with things.

Another miss last night. I don't even understand the point of last nights show. It was 50 minutes of rehashing that the kid would be ok. None of the characters interest me, and I find myself asking 'why are they doing X? Real people wouldn't do X" more often than I should.

I think it's trying to be Lost with the whole mythical who is John and what does all the weird stuff mean. But they've failed to create a plot surrounding that mystery that makes it tolerable to watch. I think I'm done trying after three episodes.

I've got to disagree. I liked the episode again last night. Absolutely loved the scene outside the hospital with the drug dealer guy and his goofy henchman set to Con Te Partiro. Then again, anything set to that song rules. I do feel that this thing could get Lost-like with all the mysteries, and if that keeps up I might get disinterested like I did with Lost. But I'll definitely be watching again this Sunday.
