June 13, 200718 yr It's very encouraging to see Ryan Sweeney near .300 in AAA. Does anyone see him turning up his HR swing, or will he be a Mark Grace/Jeff Abbott type player?
June 13, 200718 yr That's the best I've seen Haeger pitch for a while results wise. And yeah Dan, Brooks certainly looks like a bust for a 2nd round pick. Things aren't good for him if he's coming out of the pen at Kanny.

June 13, 200718 yr Correct me if I'm wrong, but when Abbott first came up, didn't he show some nice power potential. Didn't he hit something like 10-13 homers in around 200 AB's? Also, Sweeney's homer was the RF, so hopefully that meant he turned on a fastball on the inner part. I am ready to call Sweeney back up and Owens down.
