June 17, 200718 yr My father is the guiding light in the man that I am today. He lead a tough life, sacrificed everything for his children. My father preached a hard work ethic, and integrity as the backbone of what a man should be. He also taught me what a good father is all about and how to be one. I only hope that I am half of the father mine was to me.
June 19, 200718 yr I've very much appreciated the sentiment -- I'm touched by this still-standing thread -- but I think it's time to take it down lest I think too much of my responsibilities as a coming father of three.
