July 2, 200718 yr On a day where he has no command, Floyd still manages to hold the opponent in check. I doubt the 'old' Gavin could accomplish this. Remember how everyone wanted Floyd to prove he could post an ERA under 5 in the minors and have the mental fortitude to win games? Well, he is leading the IL in ERA (starting pitchers) and has a .700 winning percentage for a team that is 13 games under .500. Let's pray he can hold this composure whenever he gets called up.
