Not a bad outing for Sisco. I still have hope for him. At least he's on the right track now, in terms of being a starter, and being able to develop more control and those secondary pitches.

not saying sisco will ever be a major league starter, but this team could have alot of options for a #5 starter or a guy who can make some emergency starts should someone go on the DL....in 1 year sisco, broadway, egbert, gio, haeger in addition to floyd could all be realistic possibilities to start games in the majors.....also masset could too

Tomorrow Baseball America is releasing their annual "Best Tools" list for Class A. It'll be interesting to see where DLS ranks among the different categories.

I don't get it, but Sisco seems to be maybe getting it.

He now has 5 straight starts where he has pitched 26 innings, 16 hits, 12 walks (whip would be slightly over 1.00), and 26 strikeouts.

No doubt the guy throws hard, but maybe he's learning HOW to pitch instead of just raring back and slinging it. Whatever the case, the last month with him has been very encouraging.
