July 2, 200322 yr I wouldn't want Everrett, not because of his attitude, but because defensively he isn't that great center, which I think is what we need right now. just because we add defense at second in Alomar, doesn't mean we can slack off in center. Everrett is a good power hitter, but I would suggest batting him DH whenever they can.

July 2, 200322 yr No he's not he's been as productive about any OF this season, and he's on many of my fantasy rosters so I checked up on him just now and even with a 15-1 lead he hasn't played and neither was he playing last night. Then again, maybe we're looking at Hollandsworth, who has played for Juan the past two nights.

July 2, 200322 yr I would probably take Encarnation over Everrett for the fact that he can play center, BUT the more I think about a trade for Everrett, the more I would be OK pending who we give up. I say this because Everrett will allow us to do some nice rotation of guys from DH to position. Everrett can DH one day, play left the next for Lee. he can play center here and there. personally, I'd rather stay where we are. I think Harris and Rowand in center is fine, and I think IF konerko were to be sent to the minors, he can be a huge contributer offensively down the stretch.
