WSOP player wears Sox Championship Ring

I was just watching the WSOP Main event on ESPN, part 3 of 16, and a guy was definatly wearing a white sox championship Ring. The man's name was McKay and you could see the ring on his left hand. The hand being played was the one where McKay was facing off against Chris Moneymaker and Chris accidently put in too many chips when trying to make a call and was forced to commit a minimum raise (he later folded the hand and McKay won). You could clearly see the championship ring on his left ring finger, and now I wonder how he got the ring and if he works for the sox? Anyone have any ideas.

I never liked the WSOP, but that's pretty cool.

I would say this belongs in the sports bar, but that would imply that poker was a sport.

they said he owed a 1% stake in the club.

You sure it wasn't McKay Christensen?

Randy McKay's his name.

He's from Chicago and recently gave away numerous White Sox/Bulls prizes for St. Vincent dePaul on their website.

He must be a minority owner to have gotten a ring.

You don't necessarily need to be a minority owner to have a ring or the pendant equivalent that they had made.
