IMO, yes. But it really depends on how an organization is structured.

 

Or how it can be restructured to fit a new model. Computers and a cheaper worker across the globe works for a lot more than assembly, and sometimes better. I don't see the trend decreasing.

 

The issue becomes one of biting the hand that feeds the corporate beast. Last I looked we're the biggest market, the average Chinese household doesn't have the income to compare. The search for cheaper employees on one end of the scale, causes a decline in their biggest market on the other side.
