Not sure how it applies to this thread since this topic deals with nicknames that were known all around MLB, but a nickname that a lot of Sox fans had when we had Juan Agosto, was Juan Disgusto.

One of my other favorite ones is when Joe Torre was a catcher, and I heard someone name him after a casserole....... "Chicken-catcher-Torre"
