Holy s*** - I did finally catch an HD hockey game... what a HUGE difference. You can see the skate lines in the ice after they clean the sheet between periods. f***ing sweet.

I had been holding out because I didn't want to spend the money. But if you watch sports on tv and you actually spend a littie bit of time watching it, HD does make a big difference. I'm pretty surprised how much the improvement is for hockey. I just flipped between an HD game and a non-HD game and it's almost depressing how bad the non-HD signal is.
