I bet Josh Fields could hold his own in a fight. The guy played Division 1 football. It ain't intramurals brother.

Ozzie. He's outsized and would have to fight dirty. He's crazy enough to take a bite otta someone's chest.

"I don't know karate, but I know cuh-razy".

Joey Cora. Stay away from him unless you want your leg bitten the s*** out of.

Okay, I think Jenks and Anderson would be in the top. Jenks does have the history. I remember reading Jenks was going to beat the crap out of a bartender who threw ice cubes at his head because he was a scrubs fan.

I think Jermaine Dye would ace everyone else. Anderson is a panzee. Jenks is lazy. AJ is old and beat up. I think the only person that would have a chance would be carl everett if it would be allowed.

I think it is obvious that AJ Pierzynski would win: (1) He has all the catchers gear for protection (2) He would fight dirty, just to maintain his reputation.

This is my favorite thread this off season.

And I voted for Brian Anderson after the cub brawl where he pummeled John Mabry. The kid is smaller but he can do some damage if he's angry. :D

Honestly, Jim Thome is a nice guy, but if someone pisses him off, it's over. He's a quiet monster. Fields is a close second.

Well if Carl Everett is allowed then......hands down Aaron Rowand would destroy everyone. I remember a couple years ago there was an article and some players said they would want Rowand taking there back more than anyone.

Is this really true? Was that in his Indian or Phillie days?

They were good friends, though, so it's okay that he whomped him.

Actually, I am a little off. From an interview:

Q. What is the angriest you have been on a baseball field?

A. I could say when I charged the mound in Boston a few years ago, but I wasn't really angry. I was charging Rheal Cormier, a buddy of mine, out of obligation, so that doesn't count. Angry, like berserk? To be honest, I can't think of one.

Q. What were you thinking on your way out to tangle with Cormier?

A. Get him in a headlock, get him on the ground and just lay on him. I wasn't thinking about punching him. I just wanted to lay on him and tell him, "Stay here, don't move and nobody gets hurt." He did what he had to do, and I did what I had to do.

Brian Anderson.. what a scrappy little man.

ROFFLE

I thought it would be Thome or Jenks.

I went with Thome cause I just sense him needing just one punch to knock the s***

out of somebody.

Joey Cora. Stay away from him unless you want your leg bitten the s*** out of.

don't forget he took out zambrano with the fungo bat

If Frank Thomas was on this list would you vote for him? I know I would, I could see Big Frank picking up Matt Murton and breaking him in half like a twig.

Frank's probably waiting for his 600th home run to do that.

It seems like the biggest guys in MLB rarely fight. Can you name a big MLB guy that got into a lot of fights or near fights?

lol@ AJP getting all these votes.

He didnt do s*** in that brawl against the Cubs.
