Does Manuel getting ejected show a different opinion of Alomar or Everett???

Well, I think thats Manuel sticking up for his catcher Sandy. I've liked the latter Manuel. He doesn't seem to go off always, but he picks his spots more or less.

That was stupid on his part to get ejected on an obvious call. I don't believe in that sticking up for his catcher s***. If it was an obvious call, Sandy is the kind of guy to realize that later. Either way JM didn't need to get ejected, he could have just talked to the ump and gotten his point across. I was wondering if JM did it because of Alomar and Everett. It's a possibility.

I think it was more of a thing for Everett and Alomar, but he will say he stuck up for his catcher. I thought he went a little nuts, but after that Crede homer, Manuel isn't willing to sit back and not question home runs calls.

Manuel can't win. He gets hammered no matter what he does or doesn't do.

I wouldn't call that an obvious call. Even at slo mo it took a couple of replays. I think Jerry was pissed because the 3rd base ump didn't call anything until after the Twins 3rdBase coach started b****ing.

Exactly, JM was mad because the umpire changing his call from fall to homer.

I knew it was a homer right away. What pissed me off was how the 3B ump went from calling it foul, to overruling himself and calling it a homer.

 

I don't mind an ump being overruled, but you never, ever overrule yourself. The other umps will overrule it for you, and you can say you made a mistake. That bugs the hell out of me.
