December 20, 200718 yr Glad to hear Stone will be calling some games on the South Side. I really hope this is the first step to a larger broadcast role with the Sox. I have no problems with Hawk or DJ, by the way. Farmio and Singleton, on the other hand, have room to improve.
December 20, 200718 yr I really don't get the Steve Stone love fest here. He's like listening to a dictionary talk and I don't think he's so smart that every time I listen to him, I'll learn something new. I couldn't stand listening to him when he was with the Cubs, though, that could be in part to his partner Chip. I'd rather listen to Blackjack. The intelligence of the announcer is worthless to me (for the most part), I'd rather be entertained by an announcer.
