Year End Bonuses

Featured Replies

So they dangle this carrot (a bonus) in front of us all year long, only to find out that it's a nasty moldy carrot (a LOT less than expected) at the end of the year.

It reminds me of the Office where Michael promises a "big surprise" for everyone in the office and it ends up being ice cream sandwhiches.

so with my dismal bonus, I'm thinking about buying a few hundred ice cream sandwhiches and interofficing them to everyone in the bank.

thoughts?

any else get treated well by their employers?

Most of the time my company gives us a monthly bonus :) .Its based on whether we reach the monthly goal, and its funny because we dont work any harder nor are no more busy in months we do get a bonus. But I must admit I dont like the company and I would rather not get the bonus and love the place I work at.

The company I am at now is awesome for bonuses. Entry level employees get 10% of their annual salary as long as the goals are met. Lower management gets 25% and senior mgmt gets 40%. That was a nice Christmas present to say the least.

Our company only provides bonuses to service people. To the sales agents, like myself, who live week to week off of commission, we get nothing.

It kind of sucks because December is the worst month of the year for sales.

We get some pretty decent bonuses, especially if we exceed budget.
