Hey, I'm starting to think this may have something to do with my lazy postal carrier being late delivering my mail today.

Ha...oops...I thought it said "MILK day", so I ran out and bought a gallon. Don't I feel silly now.

I went to hang up my flag today, and I checked the handy "Flag Holiday" brochure that came with the flag. To my surprise, today is not a flag holiday. Not sure if the brochure is out-dated, but I only bought the flag a few years ago. I hung up the flag anyway. In honor of MLK, it was well hung.

But next month is Black History Month. Doesn't it suck that the shortest month is used?

They get an extra day this year. But Enjoy MANuary as long as it's still here, haha. Anyways I'm glad that at school we get MLK day off, he deserves to have his own day off. But what gets me mad is that at my school we don't get President's Day off. There have been 43 presidents including many great influential people just like Martin Luther King. It's a shame I don't get President's Day off.

In honor of MLK, it was well hung.
