It looks that way. There are a lot more familiar names without contracts at this time than I can remember in the past. Most are going to have to sign for peanuts or find some other line of work.

Kind of makes you wonder why they might not have contract, eh?

I seriously would like to know what kind of deal both Butterball Bart and Kyle Lohse are expecting. I mean, who still needs high-risk pitchers. (Well, high risk in Lohse's part because of the duration and amount on his proposed contract. Bartolo is just an injury away waiting for another DL trip.)

 

How has Colon looked in Winter Ball? I saw on ESPN Deportes he keeps surrendering runs to scrubs (or are some of these players there actually good?), but I guess Guillen saw otherwise in black Bart.
