They've done camo for at least 5 years now, I believe.

 

It's to support the military.

 

The Sox will be wearing it this year as well.

San Diego is a navy town and those are definitely my favorite jerseys in all of baseball. I freaking love the Padres camo jerseys.

alright well for the troops then theyre growing on me

 

id never seen then before and there is like no mention of them, that i could find at least, on the padres/espn websites that it was for that

 

im kind of excited for the sox camo ones now
