Everything is up this inning by Floyd. His pitches don't have the same zip.

floyds losing some command here

huff helping gavin out here

There's that nice 3-2 change-up again!

Floyd's going to have to get out of this inning using his offspeed stuff. He hasn't thrown a fastball for a strike this inning.

shut-out still intact, lets get some runs

Good job Gavin, and nice pitch selection by AJ.

I just picked Gavin Floyd up in half of my yahoo fantasy leagues. i think he's the real deal holyfield.

There ya go Gavin. Inning over, 2-0 Sox still. 58 pitches through 5 for Gavin.

If anybody gets on, Uribe is up 7th this inning.

uribe's lack of run production and low average drawing a lot of attention away from Thome's really really low batting average, he's hitting .180 as of right now lol

lack of attention? You must have missed the talk of him getting moved down in the order the other day.

Thome's spotless defense makes us forget about his hitting woes.

Thornton up in the pen for the Sox.

Good, Gavin looked a little tired last inning. I'm sure he was throwing with a lot of adrenaline to start the game, and that will zap your stamina.

It's Thome, Konerko, and Uribe. Two of them I expect to start hitting though, one of them I expect to pop out on the first pitch more often then not. Question: Who is who?

I'm sure the Red Sox would happily swap him for David Ortiz.

I was talking about on here, I didn't miss anything.

Yikes, Konerko looked like a pitcher that at bat.

There was some talk about it in the negative thread.

PK down on strikes. 11 in a row retired by Guthrie. 2 dead for Dye.

HA! that was awesome. Guthrie's pitch was so low it hit home plate, bounced 10 feet into the air, and came down into Dye's hand like it was planned from the start.

Don't know if I'm that excited about going into our bullpen with Linebrink and Jenks having pitched the last 2 days.

Our hitting needs to wake the f*** up.
