Jose throwing that "heavy ball" they said he was throwing in 05.

 

He's throwing a good 3 to 4 mph faster than he did last year.

PK swinging like a fool at the plate. I guess no one has ever told him that swinging as hard as possible usually makes your swing longer.

Another inning where the offense sees less than 10 pitches. I may start recording these.

Getz 4 for 4 with a homerun today. Any chance they bring him up when Richar back in Charlotte? See Getz works out. If not bring Richar up.

We made Lackey throw 44 pitches in the first 2 innings (23 in the 1st and 21 in the second.) The least two innings we only saw 17 (9 and 8).

If the Sox do find themselves out of it in July, Contreras might be able to be moved without picking up anything for next season. There is still a TON of time between now and then, but it's encouraging.

How about a double play?

They miss a hit and run, and still steal easily. AJ is such a bad throwing catcher. And then, PK shows just miserable range after we throw a perfect pitch for Quinlan to hit to right field.

How evident has the speed and hustle difference been this series? The Angels are having everyone on their roster steal successfully if they reach base, and the White Sox can't even get a double on balls hit down the line (Crede last night, AJP tonight).
