It's a long season. Overreacting to one game or one week is ill advised. I will say the first place thing is nice. Then again the pessimist in me says the Sox have a tough schedule coming up. The flip side of that is everyone has a tough schedule coming up. So lets just see how it goes, root for the White Sox and let's hope things work out.

We are taking walks (3rd in AL) and not giving up walks (3rd in AL) or HRs (1st in AL). If some of the slumping hitters just improve slightly, this team will be pretty solid. Even with some of those slumping hitters, we are now back in 1st.

Why did the admins here delete my game thread?

Why did the admins here delete my game thread?

I didn't delete it, but I can tell you why it probably was.

The rule of game threads is, if the team wins the game, the person who started the winning game thread gets to start the next one. Wite started last night's winning thread, so he got to start today's as well.

If wite starts game threads and the Sox win 15 in a row, (:)) then he gets to start 16 game threads in a row.

Oh I see. It wasn't like that last year.

Officially, yes it was like that; but, as the Sox started scuffling late last season, we relaxed the rule.

It was posted last year, actually. So there. :P

I guess I don't start many gamethreads. Relaxed it then, fine.
