Chisoxfn Posted July 7, 2003 Share Posted July 7, 2003 I think Danny will be sucessful as a starter or as a setupman/closer so if the Sox can put together a deal involving Lee, glover and a prospect for a good starting pitcher and a good reliever then I'm all for it. They are definately two of the guys that keep this team going.... What if we dealt someone like Miles and another pitching prospect(outside of Cotts, Honel, Wing) to a team for a pretty good #5? I think he would be great in the pen..He could very well be a future closer. Reminds me a lil of Eric Gagne. He didn't cut it as a starter and then became a breath-taking closer. Dan Wright's got closer stuff. If we could get another reliever that would be great. If we do nothing? that's fine too...Not to many teams in baseball can say they have 4 quality starters let alone 5...And not many teams can say they have a perfect bullpen...
