Danny Wright

What do you think about Danny?

Should we go out and get a 5th starter, move Danny to help out our bullpen problems?

Or do we leave him as our #5 and go out and get a decent reliever?

Or do we do nothing?

I would like to put him in the pen, and go get another starter.

I think Danny will be sucessful as a starter or as a setupman/closer so if the Sox can put together a deal involving Lee, glover and a prospect for a good starting pitcher and a good reliever then I'm all for it.

Does he throw strikes? If so make him the closer.

Is Tom Gordon gonna be our new closer?

For Lee though?

Thats a tough sell, even for me...

Its hard to trade away emotional leaders like Carlos and Jose...

They are definately two of the guys that keep this team going....

What if we dealt someone like Miles and another pitching prospect(outside of Cotts, Honel, Wing) to a team for a pretty good #5?

If we can get a 5th starter then I think we should go for it...But if not? Then hey, We can do a hell of a lot worse then Dan Wright. I think he would be great in the pen..He could very well be a future closer. Reminds me a lil of Eric Gagne. He didn't cut it as a starter and then became a breath-taking closer. Dan Wright's got closer stuff. If we could get another reliever that would be great. If we do nothing? that's fine too...Not to many teams in baseball can say they have 4 quality starters let alone 5...And not many teams can say they have a perfect bullpen...
