July 8, 200322 yr The best thing that can happen to the Sox right now is Thomas getting voted in! Um, no. The best thing that can happen for the Sox right now is going out tonight and killing a sorry Detroit team. The AS game is a nice honor, but I'll bet you Frank would trade his spot on the team for 6 or 7 wins in our last 7 games before the break. The bottom feeders is who we need to maul in order to get back into this race, and I don't want them to f*** up and lose this series like they did the TB series.
July 8, 200322 yr I agree. Wins are always the best thing that can happen to a team. What I was getting at though was it has been a long time since this city and sox fans have shown him support. If he gets voted in by us it will show him that we do support him which I am sure he hasn't felt in a long time. He is one of my all time favorite players and I never want to see him go but how many of us sox fans were calling for his dismissal. I will mean a lot to him and he would want to go out for the fans and win it all. But I will take 6 or 7 more wins before the break. Either way we win.
